We are happy to announce the addition of non-surgical vein treatment to our practice beginning June 2007. We offer the State of the Art treatment for peripheral venous hypertension that commonly causes leg edema and cosmetically objectionable varicose veins, reticular and spider veins. The varicose veins is often symptomatic, diminishing the health and recovery of the skin affected by incidental skin infection or superficial wounds, resulting in prolonged or persistent dermatitis, ulceration, discoloration and scar formation. Other symptoms of varicose veins include pain, numbness or paresthesia, and heavy sensation of the limbs especially during ambulation.
We use laser treatment with D940 diode laser system, which gives the most cutting age technology in the market today, because of the correct wavelength and frequency, and up to120W laser power to get the job done with less time, minimal discomfort and bruising. It’s the only laser system that could be utilized to treat spider veins elsewhere, such as in the face, neck, chest and trunk.
We also utilize injection (sclerotherapy) in conjunction with laser treatment or alone whenever indicated. Further removal of the actual varicose veins is done by stab avulsion or micro-phlebectomy, done under local anesthesia in the office. Patient may resume activities the next day.
Dr. Budi Bahureksa has taken advanced courses and one-on-one training (preceptorship) in phlebology and non-surgical vein treatment, from the American College of Phlebology in which he is also an active member, and Dr. Wayne Gradman from the Beverly Hills Vein Center in Southern California.
The practice would like to offer Free Initial Vein Consultation to celebrate the grand opening of our vein practice. We are taking new patients appointments, starting June 1st 2007.
