TEE – Trans Esophageal Echo |
A specialized echo test using a flexible probe to visualize the heart from within the esophagus. This test is more accurate when evaluating cardiac mass, blood clot, and is used to evaluate the severity of diseases in the heart valves and prior to planning for heart valve repair or replacement.
